Riverside Problem-Solving Day

A finance firm of 42 staff spent a Friday on a set of timed outdoor tasks along the Thames. Groups of six rotated through six stations, each with a different logistics puzzle. The day closed with a debrief on decision-making under time pressure.

Cross-Department Workshop

A marketing agency wanted its design and client-services teams to work through a shared brief together. We ran a half-day session split into three exercises, each requiring input from both departments before moving forward.

Shared Kitchen Session

A retail head office booked a cooking session for 30 people ahead of a product launch. Teams of five were given a set of ingredients and a fixed menu brief, then cooked and plated within a 90-minute window before eating together.

Annual Planning Away-Day

A logistics company brought its 16-person leadership group off-site for a full day of planning. The morning covered a review of the past year using printed data sheets; the afternoon was structured group work on the next twelve months.

Build-and-Test Challenge

An engineering firm asked for something practical rather than purely social. Teams of four built a load-bearing structure from limited materials, then tested each entry against the others in a scored trial on a Battersea green space.

New Starter Orientation Day

An insurance client runs quarterly intake cohorts and needed a structured first day for 20 new joiners. We built a morning of paired exercises so new starters would meet colleagues from other departments before their first team meeting.

Evening Quiz and Social

A legal firm wanted a low-effort evening event for 50 staff after a demanding quarter. We ran a six-round quiz with a scoring sheet and a short interval, held in a hired room near their Holborn office.

Volunteering day for a tech company
Community Day

Local Volunteering Day

A software company asked for a day that gave something back to the local area. We arranged a group of 25 staff to spend a day on garden maintenance at a Hackney community centre, working in three rotating teams.

Puzzle-Based Afternoon

An HR department of 24 people wanted an afternoon focused on communication under pressure. Four groups worked through a linked set of puzzles requiring information shared verbally between rooms, with no written notes allowed.

Boat trip event for a media company

Thames Boat Afternoon

A media company booked a private boat for 35 staff for a half-day social on the Thames. The afternoon combined a short structured activity on board with open time, ending with disembarkation near Tower Bridge.

Questions About Past Work

Can we see references from a project similar to ours?

We can point to a comparable format from the list above and talk through how it was structured. We do not publish client names without permission, but we can describe the sector and group size in detail during a call.

How far in advance were these projects booked?

Most were confirmed four to six weeks ahead, though the boat afternoon and the annual planning day were booked closer to three months out due to venue availability. Smaller indoor sessions can sometimes be arranged with less notice.

Do you only work with large teams?

No. Group sizes in the examples above range from 16 to 50 people. The planning process is the same regardless of size — the difference is mainly in how many rotation groups are formed on the day.

Which parts of London do you cover?

Current bookings are concentrated in two areas of London, including venues around the City and along the Thames. If your office sits outside these areas, mention it when you get in touch and we will confirm whether it is workable.

Discuss a Project Like These

Typical reply time to a new enquiry is within 3 hours during business hours. Send a short outline of your group size and date, and we will suggest a format.
